Free Asset Usage Policy

1. Definitions

Final Product
A completed work that incorporates the licensed Assets in a transformative, original, and meaningful way. This does not include redistribution of the Assets in their original or substantially similar form.

We / Us / Our
Refers to ViceVoxel.com and its parent entity, ViceVoxel Studios.

You / Your
Refers to the individual or entity downloading and using Assets from ViceVoxel.com.

2. Introduction

This policy is a component of the ViceVoxel Standard License Agreement (VSLA) and applies to all Assets categorized as “Free” on ViceVoxel.com.

We grant you a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and worldwide license to use our free Assets, subject to the terms outlined here and in accordance with the VSLA — specifically Section 3.3 (Scope of Use) of the One-Time Purchase License Agreement.

You are permitted to use free Assets to create an unlimited number of Final Products, provided that:

• Your usage complies with the terms of this policy and the VSLA; and

• The Assets are not redistributed in standalone, source, or unmodified form.

3. Restrictions

The following restrictions apply to all free Assets:

• You may not violate Section 4 of the One-Time Purchase License, which prohibits resale, redistribution, or use in restricted contexts such as NFTs, AI model training, or metaverse/world-building platforms.

• You may not distribute the Assets “as-is,” whether for free or for profit.

• You may not modify, reskin, or repurpose the Assets for the purpose of redistribution, whether modified or unmodified, unless the Assets are meaningfully integrated into a Final Product.

• You may not use the Assets in any tool or application that allows end-users to generate outputs on demand (e.g., character creators, avatar builders, or any user-customizable generation tool).

4. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

All free Assets are provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Implied warranties of merchantability

• Fitness for a particular purpose

• Title or non-infringement

By using free Assets, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ViceVoxel Studios, its owners, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, legal costs, or damages arising out of your use of the Assets.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, ViceVoxel Studios shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the Assets. In cases where liability cannot be fully excluded, our total cumulative liability shall not exceed $5 USD.

5. Other Legal Terms

This Free Asset Usage Policy forms a binding supplement to the ViceVoxel Standard License Agreement (VSLA). In all matters not explicitly covered by this document, the terms of the VSLA — including the One-Time Purchase License — shall apply in full.
